Football Strength and Conditioning Camp


Isaac Bruce Strength and Conditioning Summer Camp is designed for Middle School, High School and College Student Athletes.

Strength is an absolute must for any student athlete in order for them to be successful at their specific positions.

Conditioning is required to be at the highest level in order to be able to withstand cardiovascular stresses of the game.
Learning Strength and Speed will teach the student athletes how to be more explosive on the field.

 

The Program is divided into 2 sessions

Morning sessions – Power, Strength and Explosiveness
Afternoon sessions – Conditioning, Skill Work, Plyometrics, Body Weight, Gymnastics, Speed, Recovery and other areas of fitness.

The Program is based on a 3/2 training split

Three days per week the morning sessions (M,W,F) are dedicated to Powerlifting (Monday – Squat, Wednesday – Bench, Friday – Deadlift).
Two days per week (T/TH) are dedicated to Olympic Weightlifting (Power CleansPower Snatches).

The Program

8am – 9am:                    

Athletes arrive.

9am – 11pm:            

Warmups, mobility and various general physical preparedness work followed by Powerlifting or Weightlifting.

11am – 12:30pm:          

Lunch, lecture, technique, form work, etc.

12:30pm – 2:30pm:    

 Afternoon session.


*The schedule will change daily as some sessions may run longer or shorter than others.

Our highly decorated staff consists of a Super Bowl Champion Wide Receiver and Future Hall of Famer, USA Powerlifting and Olympic Weighlifitng Coaches, Specialists in Strength and Conditioning and Certified Specialists in over 20 Sport Specific Practices.
